Okay first week of retirement and hobby time but not a lot of progress on the tabletop stuff.
I spent a day getting ready to run a session of the Deadlands RPG via Fantasy Grounds. A useful tool for gaming with dispersed friends, and especially handy during lock-down, but you do need to invest prep time between sessions, and it's quite tricky dealing with unplanned events without having a catalogue of random stuff ready. I encountered this issue when I ran the game - the players went of script, easily dealt with round a table with floorplans/paper/figures but not so easy when you need to have formatted maps etc. uploaded.
So I spend a second day on online prep, this time creating generic battle-maps using a simple floorplans creator (Illwinters Floorplan Generator) and then uploading them to Fantasy Ground to grid up and add line of site features - hopefully I won't be caught out again (famous last words!).
However I did manage to get an hour or so in the Bunker towards the end of the week which I used to start painting some 25mm Feudal Japanese themed MDF scenery. I wanted to try using some cheap acrylics I had brought from the Works, these were only £8 and you get a nice selection of colours for the money.

This is the first house I attempted - if you don't look to closely at the model it looks okay in my opinion.
